I am happy to announce the release of my 2nd CD-"Dark Blue Dream". The musicians on this recording with me are: Frank Gambale-guitar, Jimmy Earl-bass, Tom Brechtlein-drums
There are also guest appearances by: Ernie Watts-saxophone on 'Asfew', and Ronnie Gutierrez-percussion on 'Asfew'

I'm very proud to announce my wife, Renee Jones-bass on 'Soundscape 1', 'Soundscape 4', and 'Unforgotten Path'. Renee also sings on '3 Til Dawn' and 'Unforgotten Path'.

I wrote all of the music for this CD which was originally recorded in 2004. I began mixing and editing all of this music earlier this year (2006) using "Logic Pro" on my computer. I wrote some new songs that were born in the experimenting process of learning "Logic". These songs are: 'Soundscape 1', 'Soundscape 4', and 'Unforgotten Path', all of which feature my wife, Renee. I also went on an 'editing journey' on what became 'Outside In (Part 2)'. Using drum loops and synthesizer sounds from 'Spectrasonics' "Atmosphere" and "Stylus RMX" software, and "Logic's" synthesizer modules, I was able to create a dreamy state that included Frank's guitar lines.

I invite you to join me in my first solo CD experience entitled 'Life Times Vol.1'. I gave the CD this title because this body of music reflects a lot of influences and experiences in my life so far. With that concept in mind, I thought it would be fun to include some pictures of a few of those experiences on the cover. Pictured from left to right are: My Parents Wedding Day May 1955, Me at the piano age 2, My piano teacher Mr.Wasson and I at age 17, Renee and my Wedding Photo Dec.2000, and the last and more recent, performing with the Dave Weckl Band October, 2001.

The process of producing this CD was a learning experience in a musical, technical and personal way. I've discovered that I really enjoyed bringing these musicians together to play this music, so I'll be investigating that path more frequently with new and different music. Please check back to my website to see the latest developments on the 'News & Projects' page. I'm also proud to include my Wife Renee's composition "Love, Me" which she wrote years ago. It is a beautiful melody to which I arranged a string quartet.
