    News Update April 5, 2007

    Hello everyone! I hope you all are enjoying the spring season.

  • I'd like to inform you that there are a couple of additional websites with news and performance dates. They are: http://www.myspace.com/steveweingart and http://www.myspace.com/nualliance.
    You'll also find some videos of "Nu Alliance" (Steve Weingart-keyboards, Frank Gambale-guitar, Tom Brechtlein-drums, Carlitos Del Puerto-bass) performing at the NAMM show from this past January and also some clips from "La Ve Lee" jazz club here in L.A.

  • I have some good news to share regarding "Nu Alliance". We are going to record a new CD this upcoming June. I am really looking forward to this as it will be an experience I've always wanted to encounter. In my past solo projects ("Life Times", and "Dark Blue Dream") I took on every aspect of producing the CDs (musically and administratively). In this upcoming recording I will be sharing the writing responsibilities with all of the guys in the band. We are contributing tunes and collaborating with each other on the rest of the music. As many know, I am a fan and believer of the true "band" concept. This is also a defining consideration for our name "Nu Alliance".

  • At the moment, "Nu Alliance" is scheduling some touring to take place in Europe in the late summer and fall. Please check back as I'll be posting new information on that as it becomes available.
    You'll be able to find out about some of my local L.A. clubs/restaurant performances with various groups as well as "Nu Alliance" performances in the 'calendar' section.

  • I also would like to invite you to have a look at the 'press' area here as there have been some new "Dark Blue Dream" reviews added. Thanks to all of the reviewers!

  • I am in the midst of redesigning this website. Fairly soon you will find quite a different look and new features in this site. I'm looking forward to the change and invite you to send an e-mail with any suggestions/comments to info@steveweingart.com

  • The Howland/Imboden Project "Live at the Baked Potato" is available at CDBaby. Keith recorded our second live performance at the Baked Potato on November 3rd, 2003. The band is Keith Howland-guitar, Tris Imboden-drums (both members of one of my favorite bands: Chicago ) Lance Morrison-bass, and yours truly-keyboards. The music is all Howland/Imboden originals.
